So this week started off with a bit of new surroundings. I'm currently working a quick week long freelance job all the way in Santa Monica. It's your typical 10 to 7 situation. So I'm not sure if I'll be able to make much progress this week on Designer con stuff but I'll try my best. Not going to complain but I have now experienced what I real hardcore traffic jam is like. My commute should be 20 minutes. It's actually 2 hours. O-O. LA LA land at it's finest everybody ;O. (yes. I am researching quicker routes)
Here it is the first of 40 of my little sculptures. Ready to be sold at designer con. I'm really proud of how the paint job turned out. After one day of crazy experimentation I was able to come up with the look and texture of his skin. It feels like I have finally gotten past a small wall. It's a good feeling. Now I just got to paint the rest of them and quickly. I feel like once this freelance gig is over with I will be able to jump right back on the high horse and really make a dent in my designer con work list.
And lastly here is that super long animation test that I was working on last week!
